La notte dei The Game Awards 2023 ha incantato gli appassionati del mondo videoludico con tre ore di spettacolo travolgente, sorprese e annunci entusiasmanti. Geoff Keighley ha incoronato i campioni dell’anno, svelando i vincitori in ogni categoria e concludendo la serata con l’ambito Game of the Year.
Senza dubbio, il grande protagonista della serata è stato Baldur’s Gate 3, un capolavoro firmato dai talentuosi Larian Studios. Il gioco si è aggiudicato il premio più prestigioso, il Game of the Year, portando a casa anche altri cinque riconoscimenti: Best Performance, Best RPG, Best Community Support, Best Multiplayer e Players’ Voice.
La notte ha sorriso anche a Remedy, che ha trionfato con Alan Wake 2, ottenendo tre importanti premi: Best Game Direction, Best Narrative e Best Art Direction.
Tra le esclusive, Microsoft e Nintendo hanno saputo conquistare l’attenzione del pubblico. Microsoft ha ottenuto tre premi, incluso il Best Sports/Racing e l’Innovation in Accessibility per Forza Motorsport, insieme al Best Audio Design per Hi-Fi Rush. Nintendo ha vinto con Super Mario Bros. Wonder (Best Family), Pikmin 4 (Best Strategy Game) e The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Best Action/Adventure).
